Description
Vettergymnasiet is a small independent school in Jönköping that started its operations in the fall of 2009 by experienced educators and professionals. The school currently has about 75 students distributed across two national programs: the Child and Recreation Program and the Electrical and Energy Program with a focus on computer and communication technology.
We are a teacher-dense and family-friendly school where many of our teachers have worked with us for a long time and enjoy their roles. For us, safety, engagement, and good relationships are central.
For the fall term 2026, we are now seeking a teacher in physical education and health on a part-time basis.

Job responsibilities
As a teacher in physical education and health, you are responsible for:
Planning, conducting, and following up on teaching in Physical Education and Health 1
Assessment and documentation according to current regulations
Motivating and inspiring students towards physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits
Collaboration with colleagues regarding students' learning and development
Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and study environment-promoting learning environment
The teaching involves a student group of about 24 students.
Qualifications
• Teaching certification or eligibility in the subject of physical education and health
• Previous experience teaching at the high school level is meritorious
Personal qualities:
We are looking for you who are responsible, structured, and flexible. You have good pedagogical ability, ease in collaboration, and in building trusting relationships with students and colleagues. You take overall responsibility for your assignment and contribute positively to the school's work environment. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
Employment conditions
Employment type: Permanent employment
Scope: Part-time, approximately 15–20%
Start date: Fall term 2026, after an agreed time with the suitable candidate
Salary: Market-based salary
Collective agreement: The Independent School Agreement (Almega Education in collaboration with Sveriges Lärare and Vision)
