Forshaga-Munkfors congregation is located in a fantastic environment where the Klarälven river flows from Munkfors in the north to Forshaga in the south. Along the Klarälvsbanan, you can cycle through Ransäter, Övre Ullerud, and Nedre Ullerud. National Road 62 quickly takes you to different parts of the congregation. Forshaga-Munkfors congregation consists of two municipalities, located north of Karlstad, with a total of approximately 15,000 municipal residents, of which about 11,000 are church members. There are five churches with associated cemeteries and parish halls or vicarages nearby.
About the Position:
As cemetery manager, you have overall responsibility for funeral operations and lead the daily work at the congregation's cemeteries. The role includes personnel responsibility for a group, with responsibility for employee meetings, salary discussions, and staffing planning. You are accountable for the operation's budget and continuously monitor finances and results. You plan, lead, and follow up ongoing operations within funeral services and are responsible for the maintenance and development of the congregation's green spaces. The position also involves work environment responsibility according to the delegation order, as well as responsibility for purchasing and invoice management. You are part of the congregation's management group together with the vicar, HR, and those responsible for diakonia and children and youth activities. Together, you actively contribute to the development and collaboration across all functions.

- Have no problem leading various meeting contexts
- Have a Class B driver's license and access to a personal car, as we are a long congregation, requiring easy travel between our five churches
Meriting:
- Documented experience in leadership and planning
- Practical experience in green space maintenance
- Good knowledge of properties and property-related issues
The position requires you to be comfortable using IT systems in daily work, for example for administration, documentation, and planning. You have good knowledge of the Office package and strong administrative abilities that help you work structured and efficiently.

You get responsibility for an experienced work group with high competence and engagement. The work group consists of about 10 people annually, but during the season, it expands to a total of around 25 people. You get the opportunity to manage the cultural heritage at our cemeteries and develop other green spaces. HR is available to support in all personnel matters.
