We are now seeking an engaged and business-minded job coach who wants to help people into employment. You will be based at our office in Umeå, but it may involve working with participants in other locations.

About the Role

As a career coach with us, you will primarily work within the service Prepare and Match, but it may also involve working with Short Path.

The work is goal-oriented and involves helping participants towards employment or studies through:

• Coaching conversations, interview training, and creating, revising documents in the application process.
• Identifying and establishing contact with relevant employers for internships and employment. Together with the participant, calling and showing interest for a potential internship or job.
• Maintaining and expanding your network among companies in Västerbotten.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a natural relationship-builder with high energy and strong drive. You are a person who sees opportunities where others see obstacles and who enjoys working independently and efficiently.

We Require the Following:

• Academic studies of at least 180 credits (university or college).
• Interest and knowledge in transition work in the form of sector switching/career change and/or recruitment.
• At least two years of work experience, full-time.
• You are results-focused and enjoy making cold contacts with companies.
• You express yourself well verbally and in writing and have very good IT skills.

• Attentive and skilled at building trust with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Structured and efficient in your time planning.

Information About the Position:

The position is an hourly role, approximately part-time or half-time, with good opportunities to grow over time. We prefer that you have other assignments on the side. Since you are the outward-facing representative, we want you to be accustomed to handling and acting professionally in all situations.
