The Vocational Upper Secondary School in Huddinge is seeking a teacher for the vehicle program, passenger car

We are looking for you who are a car mechanic and enjoy working with young people. You should be open-minded and able to take responsibility for your own work and be interested in teaching the mechanic profession to the youth. You will teach the vocational courses included in the vehicle program at the upper secondary school where students become car mechanics after completing their education. It is a practical education, and the teaching you conduct is hands-on. The school has a good workshop. The work is independent and free, and under your own responsibility. You will have very free hands, but the school supports you as someone new to the school with planning and getting started as a teacher. You will also have an experienced teacher at the school as a mentor. So you will receive help. The education is an apprenticeship training, so much of your time will be spent in contact with apprenticeship placements where the students are and learn their profession.

Approximately one to two days a week, you have practical teaching; the rest of the time is spent visiting apprenticeship placements, mentoring students, and planning teaching.
