Gästrike Fastigheter currently owns and manages 250,000 square meters of premises and residences in centrally located properties in Gävle, Sandviken, Skutskär, Öregrund, Västerås, Surahammar, Köping, Hallsberg, Lindesberg, and Rättvik. The company is headquartered in Gävle and has approximately 40 employees. The company is part of a larger group that includes several other operations. The group has a turnover of around 1000 million SEK and employs about 350 people.

We are now seeking an experienced property caretaker to join us in Gävle/Sandviken and are looking for a responsible, meticulous, and outgoing person who will be an important part of the operations. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team and are accustomed to juggling multiple tasks.

Job Duties:

• Perform repairs and maintenance measures in our properties and apartments.
• Address fault reports from tenants.
• Regular inspections of the properties.
• Monitoring and adjustment of the properties' technical systems.
• Systematic fire safety work.
• Patrols
• On-call duty on evenings and weekends according to schedule

Who are you?

We are looking for you with experience of having worked as a property caretaker or repairer within properties and have broad practical skills in common repairs. You are generally technically interested and a skilled problem solver, as you will be faced with various tasks to solve every day. Several years of experience and knowledge as a property caretaker/repairer is a requirement. You must be proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing. Knowledge of additional languages is meritorious. A B driver's license is required.
