The Company...

Åkerblads is a Hotel & Inn located in beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The hotel has been in the Åkerblad family's ownership since the 15th century, and today the 19th-22nd generation of Åkerblad work with a strong team to provide guests with an experience beyond the ordinary.

Experiences are what we convey to the guest, from the moment she checks in until she longs to return to the sparkling waters of Siljan.

We strive to be unique with our product, and perhaps that is why the hotel today has 73 unique and personally decorated rooms. The restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, for both conference guests and weekend guests.

The hotel is currently classified with four stars and aims for continuous development where quality is one of the cornerstones. Our spa department consists of 3 treatment rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own jacuzzi and sauna. Along with the newly added pool area with pool, hydromassage pool, outdoor pool, we also have a well-equipped gym and exclusive changing rooms with sauna.

Dry relaxation spaces and pool bar are also new additions to our SPA.

Your Responsibilities...

As SPA manager, you have a driving role and lead the work in our spa department. In addition to performing treatments, you will also be responsible for ensuring therapists are available for booked appointments and that treatment rooms are clean and fresh. You will work closely with our reception, as treatment bookings are made there. You also hold the ultimate responsibility for maintaining the same high standard in this area as the rest of the hotel. In your professional role as SPA manager, you are also part of the company's management team and work closely with the owning family. The role also involves scheduling, responsibility distribution, and task allocation to therapists. Budget planning, purchasing, and inventory.

Most of the working hours are allocated to treatments.

We see that your formal background is as a certified skin therapist and/or spa therapist with approved education (SHR and CIDESCO). We prefer that applicants have experience in a leadership role within a similar field. You have experience in spa, wellness, or health, it is important that you can take your own initiative and are willing to work weekends and holidays.
