Technician

About us: Holsby Metal is a modern manufacturing company with customers in HVAC, hydraulics, and the automotive industry. Our production primarily involves processing copper, brass, and aluminum. We offer a wide range of services such as surface treatment, CNC machining, assembly, blasting, tool manufacturing, thread coating, hot pressing, and finishing.

About the position: As a technician/setter, you have a key role in production and are responsible for setting, programming, and production according to preparation, instructions, and customer requirements. You work closely with production management, technology, and quality and have the authority to stop production or delivery if quality requirements are not met. You have daily collaboration with colleagues as well as outside the organization in the form of suppliers.

Job duties

• Responsible for setting, programming, and optimization of new and existing items

• Ensure that production follows preparation, work instructions, and set setup times

• Perform first-piece and last-piece measurements as well as ongoing quality controls

• Report back on work orders and follow up on production quality and results

• Ensure that setting is performed correctly according to instructions and requirements

• Have the authority to stop production and delivery of products that do not meet set quality requirements

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Good technical understanding and computer skills

• Experience from manufacturing industry

Meritous:

• Experience with business system Monitor.

• Experience with Fanuc, Brother, and Siemens

• English
