Lunch Cook in Visby this Summer

Bistro Borgen is a lively pub, restaurant, and lunch eatery just inside Österport in Visby. We serve a street food-inspired menu complemented by pizza and à la carte, and offer well-prepared home-style cooking during lunch hours. With us, you'll also find music entertainment with karaoke on weekends as well as billiards, games, pinball, and shuffleboard – a social meeting place with high energy.

For the summer season, we are now looking for a cook who will primarily work with our lunch operations, focusing on traditional home-style cooking. You will also, as needed, support our pizza cook and the rest of the kitchen team during peak season. Experience in preparing home-style cooking is a requirement.

Work hours are scheduled on weekdays from 09:00 to 15:00. The employment period is from June 1 to August 30.

Job Duties

Work in a lunch kitchen with a focus on home-style cooking

Preparation and cooking of the daily lunch

Support in the restaurant and pizza kitchen as needed

Other kitchen work that occurs in daily operations

Bistro Borgen is part of Matmuren, which since 1991 has been working with food & entertainment in Visby. In addition to Bistro Borgen, we also operate Frimis Krog, Bistra Harens Medieval Tavern, and an extensive catering and event business that serves guests across all of Gotland.
