Recovery Driver

About us:

Baltens Åkeri AB is a recovery company located in Greater Gothenburg, our station is on Hisingen and here we work together with both women and men.

The company has existed since 1986 and currently operates both recovery vehicles and various excavation equipment that travel across the entire country.

About the position:

The job largely involves assisting stranded motorists with various issues such as jump-starts, lock openings, tire changes, vehicle recovery, motorcycles, etc.

We work on a fixed rotating schedule, with shifts during the day, evenings, nights, and weekends.

We operate from our station, where each recovery driver has their own room available as we sleep at our workplace during on-call hours.

We share a vehicle with a colleague from the opposite shift and help each other take good care of our workplace.

About you:

You are cheerful, pleasant, and helpful, a team player who is also good at working independently. Not afraid to get your hands dirty and work hard, but value cleanliness – both your own and the vehicle's. You are careful with others' belongings and understand the value of others' property.

Requirements:

Class C driver's license and YKB

Good Swedish in speech and writing

Basic English (as we also have many tourists from around the world as customers)

Service-oriented, responsible, and stress-tolerant

Preferred qualifications:

Class E driver's license

APV

Previous experience in the profession, light or heavy

Interest in vehicles, as minor repairs may occur on site
