Asphalt Layer / Construction Worker, Road Maintenance

We are now seeking, on behalf of a client, several service-oriented and driven asphalt layers/construction workers for assignments in Västra Götaland. Here you will have a varied daily routine where you help build and maintain important infrastructure in the region.

About the Assignment

You will work with the operation and maintenance of streets, roads, and surrounding environments throughout Västra Götaland. The work is varied and includes several tasks within construction and road service.

Examples of job duties:

• Maintenance of city streets and roads
• Asphalt laying and adjustment work
• Sign maintenance
• Snow removal and sanding (machine/truck)
• Loading, planning, and transport of materials with a loading machine
• Line marking
• Stone setting work
• Truck driving
• Working in a team where collaboration is a natural part

As an asphalt layer, you work practically with the entire process—from ground preparation to finished surface. You handle asphalt mixtures, work with machines such as asphalt pavers and rollers, and ensure quality, durability, and proper drainage.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have the right attitude and want to work in a team where quality and responsibility are important.

Requirements:

• Education in construction and civil engineering or equivalent experience
• Driver's license BE
• Basic blueprint reading
• Computer proficiency (time reporting and work orders)

Advantageous:

• Driver's license C + YKB
• Experience with asphalt laying or adjustment work
• Experience with snow removal
