Vocational High School in Huddinge seeks full-time construction teacher

Vocational High School in Huddinge is seeking a construction teacher for the construction program. If you are a certified construction teacher, you will have priority over non-certified applicants. You should have an understanding of young people and enjoy working with them. As a construction teacher, you will teach lessons in the subject of construction, where you will build with the students, such as scaffolds, stalls, playhouses, accessory dwelling units, and more. You will be given great freedom in your professional practice. Vocational High School conducts apprenticeship training, so a large part of your work will involve visiting students at their apprenticeship placements at various construction companies and ensuring that everything functions properly. You will be a mentor for approximately 25 students, which involves contact with parents and helping the students through their education.

You will have a mentor during the first year, who is an experienced vocational teacher, to help you into the role of a teacher.

As a teacher, you have summer vacation, Christmas vacation, sports vacation, and Easter vacation.
