We are seeking a balancing technician in ventilation

Do you want to work with technology, indoor climate, and energy-efficient solutions? We are now looking for a meticulous and dedicated balancing technician in ventilation to join our team.

Ventab provides contracting and services in ventilation installation, and we are the leading ventilation company in Western Sweden. We have an annual turnover of approximately 250 MSEK and employ around 70 people. Ventab was one of the founders of Currentum, a market-leading installation group of actors in HVAC, sprinklers, ventilation, building automation, electricity, energy, and security systems. Today, Currentum has an annual turnover of over 7 billion kronor and has over 3,000 employees.

About the position

As a balancing technician, you are responsible for ensuring that ventilation systems function optimally. You work with measuring, adjusting, and troubleshooting airflow in both new construction and existing properties.

Job duties include, among others:

• Balancing of ventilation systems (supply and exhaust air)
• Measurement of airflow, pressure, and temperature
• Troubleshooting and optimization of systems
• Documentation and reporting of results
• Participation in inspections and project handovers

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has education in HVAC/ventilation or equivalent experience
• Has a good understanding of ventilation systems
• Can read drawings and technical descriptions
• Is meticulous, structured, and solution-oriented
• Has a B driver's license

Meritorious

• Experience with balancing
• Knowledge of OVK and energy saving
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and balancing protocols
