Premises Caretaker 25% Swedish Church Vikingstad Parish

In the Church's house, children and adults move around daily. That's why it's important that it's clean and fresh. Now we're looking for you who wants to help us have clean, pleasant, and welcoming premises.

Vikingstad parish is located 7 minutes by commuter train west of Linköping, and is the parish of opportunities. Today there are about 3600 church members, and we're growing all the time as Vikingstad expands. In the parish, there are 5 churches, and in addition, the Church's house with activity rooms, chapel, and offices for most of the 13 of us who make up the parish's work team. The weekly worship service is, of course, the center of the parish, but beyond that, there's a lot of activity for all ages.

We're looking for you who

• has previous experience with and preferably is trained in premises care
• is meticulous, responsible, and service-oriented
• can work independently and plan your work
• thinks it's okay to work early in the morning or after activity hours in the evening
• shares the Swedish Church's faith and values
• masters the Swedish language in speech and writing

The job's content

As a premises caretaker, you're responsible for daily and periodic cleaning of our premises in the church's house, such as:

• Cleaning of common areas, kitchens, chapel, toilets, and workrooms
• Refilling consumables
• Simple inspection of the premises
• Window cleaning as needed

Start date: August 15 or by agreement. We use a probationary employment.

Working hours: Mainly 4 days per week. Weekday mornings before the activity starts or evening time after the activity ends.
