Teacher in after-school center

Job Duties

As a teacher in our after-school center, you will work on developing and conducting educational activities together with the work team. You believe it is important to create conditions for all children so they can have good development in a stimulating environment where play and curiosity are in focus.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in after-school centers, preferably with some other practical aesthetic subject as well. You have experience from educational work with children where you have independently and in groups planned, implemented, and evaluated the work.

You are accustomed to collaborating with different teachers/work teams and you are good at communicating with parents. You fully share the values reflected in the curriculum. Children's learning is a focus for you and you have a habit of working goal-oriented. You are passionate about giving children meaningful leisure time and base your planning of activities on their needs and interests.

Creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is a given for you. You understand the importance of children's play and movement for learning. You are also flexible and have an easy time taking your own initiatives. Other important abilities you possess are being able to create a good work climate, having a low-key approach, and appreciating working with people.

Depending on your profile and how the activities are structured, you will also work in the classroom and/or with individual students during school hours.
