About the school

Metapontum's compulsory school is an independent school for grades F-9 with approximately 570 students. The school has profiles in music and mathematics and also offers nationally recruiting advanced education in mathematics for grades 7-9. About the Job

For the academic year 26/27, we are seeking a teacher in the science subjects and technology at a 90% employment rate for teaching in grades 6-9. The position also includes mentorship.

We are looking for you with qualifications to teach in the subjects physics, biology, chemistry, and technology. We want you to have good collaboration skills, ease in creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and in an enthusiastic and inspiring way include students in the subject.

We further see that you are a pedagogical and clear leader who can structure and plan your work in an efficient way. You are engaged, flexible, and proactive. We assume that your goal is to create a developing, positive, and safe learning environment for your students. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language both in speech and writing. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Teacher certification with qualifications to teach physics, biology, chemistry, and technology for grades 7-9

Meritorious

• Work experience as a teacher in compulsory school
• Experience working with Schoolsoft and Google Workspace for Education

We apply individual salary setting. Start date by agreement. We have collective agreements in Almega education and wellness allowance. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the application period ends.
