Spanish teacher + another subject

Birkaskolan is centrally located in Ekerö municipality with good bus connections from Brommaplan. The school serves children from preschool to compulsory school F-9. In the 2025/2026 academic year, we moved into newly built, purpose-built premises in the Ekebyhov area.

Our school is based on Montessori pedagogy, which means, among other things, that students learn early to take responsibility for their studies with the support and guidance of skilled teachers. Our teaching and activities are characterized by high continuity of teachers who create security in an inspiring and prepared environment. We want each student, based on their conditions, to grow and develop into an independent individual at their own pace. Student groups are mixed-age, with older children serving as role models and able to guide and help the younger ones.

We have a well-established value foundation consisting of the words participation, respect, development, and security. These words are very much alive, and we work based on these values in everything we do. We are seeking a teacher qualified to teach at the middle school level, preferably with subject qualifications in Swedish/English. We want you to have good collaboration skills, be flexible, and have a positive attitude. It is important that you enjoy challenges and are solution-oriented.

We are now looking for a teacher in modern languages, Spanish, for grades 6-9. You may also have other subjects in your combination that could be relevant for the school.

Your work as a teacher includes planning for students' knowledge development, collaborating with colleagues, parents, and management, as well as other tasks that are part of a teacher's duties.

The position can vary from part-time to full-time depending on the subject combination of the applicant.
