About the school

Metapontum's compulsory school is an independent school for grades F-9 with approximately 570 students. The school has profiles in music and mathematics and also offers nationally recruiting advanced education in mathematics for grades 7-9. About the Job

For the school year 26/27, we are looking for a leisure-time centre teacher at 100%.

At our leisure-time centre, we work to ensure that each student has a positive and meaningful school day where knowledge development and social development are in focus. Our working method is based on seeing the students' entire school day where school and leisure-time centre complement each other. Our activities and working methods should reflect this and stimulate the students' progression and learning throughout the day.

We are looking for you with qualifications as a leisure-time centre teacher. We want you to have good collaboration skills and an ease in creating safe and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are present, engaged, and responsible for creating a meaningful and stimulating activity for the students throughout the day. We assume that your goal is to create a developing, positive, and safe learning environment in the leisure-time centre where the students' interests, participation, and social interaction are in focus. You are a safe adult role model who encourages play, creativity, and community.

In your role as a leisure-time centre teacher, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and developing the activity together with other staff so that it maintains high quality based on the curriculum and the school's goals. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Teaching license with qualifications to teach in the leisure-time centre
• Previous experience working as a leisure-time centre teacher

Meritorious

• Experience in managing and developing the leisure-time centre's activity from a holistic perspective

We apply individual salary setting. Starting date by agreement. We have a collective agreement in Almega education and wellness benefits. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the end of the application period.
