The Language School in Upplands Väsby/The English School is seeking a certified special education teacher.

As a special education teacher at the Language School in Upplands Väsby, The English School, your main task together with other educators is to ensure that all students reach their full potential.

You work preventively and health-promoting, you conduct analyses at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

Based on analyses, you work in a mentoring capacity with teachers and staff in after-school programs.

You plan and conduct teaching for students in groups and individually.

You have close collaboration with the school's educators.

You have close collaboration with the school management and have a natural role in the EHT work.

You assist in carrying out assessments, design intervention programs, and collaborate with external actors when needed.

You work to create accessible learning environments for students, you have good knowledge of digital tools and learning environments. You see opportunities, not difficulties, in alternative learning environments and teaching tools.

You have a relational approach and are good at building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Qualifications

You are a trained special education teacher with a teaching license.
