About the School

Metapontum Elementary School is an independent school for grades F-9 with approximately 570 students. The school has profiles in music and mathematics and also offers nationally recruiting advanced education in mathematics for grades 7-9. The school is located in a beautiful cultural center in the middle of Långbro Park in Älvsjö. About the Job

For the academic year 26/27, we are looking for an after-school educator for Metapontum's after-school center at 100%. We are seeking you who have an appropriate pedagogical education for work as an after-school educator.

At our after-school center, we work to ensure that each student has a positive and meaningful school day where knowledge development and social development are in focus. Our approach is based on seeing the students' entire school day where school and after-school center complement each other. Our activities and methods should reflect this and stimulate the students' progression and learning throughout the day.

You have good collaboration skills and are adept at creating safe and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are present, engaged, and contribute to creating a meaningful and stimulating operation for the students throughout the day. In teaching, you are responsible for offering students a variety of methods, forms of expression, and learning environments that integrate care and learning.

You work together with teachers in the after-school center and other staff to plan, implement, and follow up activities in the after-school program so that it maintains high quality based on the curriculum and the school's goals. You are a safe adult role model who encourages play, creativity, and community. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Additional Information

We apply individual salary setting. Start date by agreement. We have a collective agreement with Almega education and a wellness allowance. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the end of the application period.

A current extract from the police criminal record is required for any employment.
