Do you want to work at the heart of a rapidly growing international e-commerce business and be part of driving development in a dynamic industry? We are now seeking a Category Manager who wants to take a central role in developing our partnerships, our product range, and our commercial initiatives.
You will become part of our Sales team within Salt Labs – one of the world's largest e-commerce groups for nicotine pouches and Swedish snus online. The team has overall commercial responsibility and drives relationships with our suppliers and business partners globally.
As a Category Manager, you will be responsible, together with the rest of the sales team, for negotiations regarding products, product range, and pricing, as well as creating conditions for increased sales through, for example, campaigns, marketing activities, and strategic collaborations. The team is a key function in developing and implementing our supplier strategy and works at the core of our business. We operate across multiple e-commerce platforms in various markets.
About the Role
As a Category Manager, you will have a central role in developing our supplier relationships and ensuring that we have a competitive offering in the market. You will be responsible for planning and implementing campaigns and product launches, as well as driving the business together with our partners to maximize growth and profitability.
The role involves close collaboration with several functions within the company, where you contribute insights, analyses, and commercial initiatives that strengthen our offering and our partnerships.
Areas of Responsibility
- Develop relationships with our suppliers and partners in Sweden and internationally
- Drive and conduct negotiations regarding products, product range, pricing, and commercial terms
- Ensure that relevant teams are updated on campaigns, launches, and commercial plans
- Analyze sales and consumer data and develop commercial recommendations
- Be responsible for product range development and pricing, as well as monitor margins and profitability
- Identify and develop new business opportunities together with partners
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and contribute to achieving shared KPIs such as volume, revenue, and gross margin
Requirements Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in sales
- Experience in sales or category work within e-commerce and an understanding of the complexity of the business
- Negotiation experience and experience in developing long-term supplier relationships
- Experience in creating structure and processes for effective category work
- Good ability to work with and analyze large datasets
- Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English
