Asian Cook (specializing in Thai and Sri Lankan cuisine)
Description
You will be responsible for preparing a daily variation of 10–20 dishes, and ensuring high quality, consistency, and presentation. The role requires working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen and managing multiple dishes simultaneously.
Main responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Thai and Sri Lankan dishes for the daily buffet
Plan and vary menus to ensure diversity and quality
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area
Work independently and as part of a team
Ensure that food safety standards are followed
Requirements:
At least 2–3 years of experience as a cook in Asian cuisine (Thai and/or Sri Lankan)
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
Good collaboration skills and communication skills
Proactive and responsible work attitude
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Knowledge of Sinhala or Swedish is considered an advantage (not required)
