Accounting Economist (Kalmar)

About the Assignment

We are seeking an accounting economist for our client, an established and well-known company in the home electronics industry.

• Scope: Full-time (100%)
• Assignment Period: Immediate start, 6 months
• Location: Kalmar
• Work Form: Primarily on-site

About the Role

You will be part of the Financial Services department, which supports the retail chains in their financial work. The role is broad and involves varied tasks with significant personal responsibility. You will join a larger finance department where collaboration and shared responsibility are central.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Your main tasks include:

• Management of supplier accounts payable
• Incoming and outgoing payments as well as reminders
• Cash reporting
• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Reconciliations in accounting
• Reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency and other authorities
• Monthly closings, annual closings, and annual reports
• Contact with owners, store staff, and auditors
• Potential reporting for group companies

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in economics
• At least 3 years of experience as an accounting economist
• Experience with monthly closings
• Ability to work with multiple companies and account structures simultaneously

Meritorious:

• Experience with Jeeves and Fortnox systems
