Interim Controller with a broad role in Financial & Business Controlling

We are now seeking an experienced and self-driven Controller for an exciting interim assignment starting immediately. The assignment spans approximately 7 months, and you will work as a consultant through Vindex. The role is broad and combines responsibilities in both Financial and Business Controlling, where you will have a central function in ensuring quality in financial reporting and contributing with analysis and business support in a dynamic environment.

About the role

In the role as Interim Controller, you will work closely with the business and have an overall responsibility for quality-assuring monthly closings, reporting, and financial analyses. You will become a key player in the intersection between accounting, controlling, and operations, where you support both operational and analytical matters. The role also involves close collaboration with the Head of Accounting and other key functions in the organization.

Location: At the office in Stockholm

Main responsibilities

• Quality-assure monthly closings
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Cash flow monitoring and liquidity analysis
• Ensure quality in balance sheets and income statements
• Support in project monitoring and revenue recognition
• Contribute to the development and improvement of processes in SAP
• Act as a bridge between finance and other parts of the organization

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Financial Controller
• Very good understanding of closing work and financial reporting
• Very good system proficiency, where experience with SAP is a requirement
• Strong analytical ability and good business acumen
• Experience in independently quality-assuring figures and reports
• Experience with project accounting and project billing, considered as meritorious
