NPF Childcare is seeking a childcare specialist with a focus on neurodevelopmental conditions
Employment:
Initially a temporary position of approximately 5-10 hours per week. The role will be expanded in August to a part-time position with good prospects for increased hours in the future.
Location:
Remote work, based in Stockholm. Travel may be required as part of the job.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible childcare specialist who wants to be a central part of our operations. You will often be the first point of contact with both families and childcare providers and play an important role in creating security, quality, and structure in our assignments. You report directly to the CEO and have close collaboration with the company's management. As we are a small company with short decision-making paths, you are expected to work independently, take your own initiatives, and make decisions within the scope of your role. There are good opportunities for increased working hours as the company grows and demand for our services increases.
Job Duties
- Receive and handle inquiries from families
- Recruit and match childcare providers
- Maintain ongoing contact and follow-up with both employees and families
- Answer the phone during telephone hours
- Handle incoming questions via email and other channels
- Be the first point of contact and the public face of the business
Requirements Profile
We are looking for you who have:
- Good knowledge and understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions
- Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions
- Good familiarity with low-arousal approaches
- Knowledge of structured teaching methods
- Experience working with families in a supportive, coordinating, or educational role
- Very good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish
- Ability to create security, build relationships, and work solution-focused
- Good organizational skills and experience managing multiple interfaces simultaneously
- A professional, warm, and service-oriented approach to work
Advantageous
- Education in pedagogy, special education, psychology, social work, or similar
- Post-secondary education in fields such as behavioral science, preschool teacher, teacher, social pedagogue, or support pedagogue
- Experience from LSS operations, school, student health, or residential care facilities
- Training in low-arousal approaches
- Training in structured teaching methods
- Experience in recruitment, matching, or coordinating roles
- Experience in customer service, on-call services, or telephone-based work
- Driver's license and access to a car
