Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is growing, and we are now seeking operators for our grinding and finishing department.

Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is a production partner to customers in areas such as marine, defense, aerospace, and industrial systems. This involves working with complex components where requirements for quality, traceability, and precision are high.

For you as an operator, this means:

• after safety (which always comes first!), we prioritize thinking before acting and doing things right rather than rushing through tasks

About the job

This is a job for you who have some workshop experience or experience with "tinkering" and are open to pitching in where needed. It is a job for you who enjoy responsibility and want to work in a modern workshop where people, quality, and long-term thinking are taken seriously.

You will work in a small team of experienced colleagues. The work involves:

• grading and inspecting processed components - some tasks also include grinding
• performing operator maintenance and contributing to improvements
• assembly work occurs
• some documentation is included

It is work that requires precision, judgment, and professional pride.

Who we think you are

You have worked a few years in a workshop and:

• have workshop training or equivalent experience
• can read basic drawings
• have forklift and crane operator licenses
• are quality-conscious, responsible, and solution-oriented
