📍 Location: Sundsvall / Partially remote (approximately 2 days per week on-site)

We at EDGE Associates are now seeking a Senior Java Developer for our team. You will be employed by us and work on extensive assignments for a client in the public sector. Here, you will become part of a modern IT operation where you work in agile teams focused on new development, further development, and maintenance of the agency's critical systems.

The role involves full-stack development in a modern environment (OpenShift) where you are expected to take significant responsibility for code quality, architecture, and delivery. We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, driven, and enjoys supporting and mentoring other developers in the team.

Technical environment: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Camunda, Rabbit MQ, Red Hat OpenShift, DB2, JPA/Hibernate.

🛠️ Qualifications

We are seeking a senior profile with a deep understanding of distributed service-oriented platforms and event-based microservice architecture.

We are looking for someone who has:

✔️ At least 5 years of experience as a Java developer in agile system development on distributed platforms.

✔️ Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

➕ 10+ years of experience in Java development and agile methods.

➕ Experience with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate and REST integrations.

➕ Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Helm.

➕ Experience with event-based architecture using Rabbit MQ.

➕ Experience with financial systems (banking, finance, or similar).

➕ Experience acting as a mentor/support for other developers.

➕ Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git/Bitbucket and Jenkins.

➕ Experience working in the public sector.
