AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer at Walma, you build solutions that go from idea to production, for real customers with real problems. You work with LLM integrations, AI agents, document processing, semantic search, and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI solutions with LLMs, agent frameworks, and vector databases
• Develop integrations with customers' existing systems and data sources
• Build and optimize pipelines for document processing, classification, and extraction
• Contribute to our internal products (Noda, Ocle)
• Work directly with customers to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing

We are looking for you who have

• At least 2 years of experience in software development (Python, TypeScript, or similar)
• Practical experience working with LLMs and AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI API, Anthropic, etc.)
• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search
• Experience building and deploying services in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility from requirements to delivery
• Fluent English (Swedish is a plus)

Advantageous

• Experience with agent frameworks (CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph)
• Knowledge of OCR, document parsing, and data extraction
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD
• Contributions to open source projects
