Kitchen Assistant

Snaps Bar is a well-established pub at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm that has been serving guests for over 20 years. We are known for our large outdoor seating area, cozy courtyard, and relaxed atmosphere. In the kitchen, we prepare both bar menus and à la carte dishes with a focus on taste, quality, and Swedish food traditions.

About the Position

We are now looking for a kitchen assistant who wants to become part of our kitchen team. You will work closely with the chefs and be an important part in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, especially during busy service periods.

Job Duties:

• Preparing ingredients (e.g., cutting, chopping, fetching)
• Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organized
• Assisting with simple food preparation
• Restocking supplies and supporting the chefs in daily tasks
• Other tasks as needed in the kitchen

We are looking for you who:

• Enjoys a fast pace and physical work
• Is meticulous, responsible, and punctual
• Has a positive attitude and is a team player
• Is flexible and helps out where needed

Experience from a kitchen or restaurant is advantageous, but not required – the right attitude is most important.
