We at Joint Academy's primary care clinic Active Rehab Gothenburg are now seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist who wants to become part of our neuro care team. With us, you will work in a stimulating and modern environment, together with dedicated colleagues from multiple professions.

About the role

As an occupational therapist at Active Rehab Gothenburg, you will become an important part of a larger interdisciplinary team consisting of dedicated occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists with many years of experience. The clinic is centrally located in Gothenburg with bright, modern facilities and has high accessibility and a strong patient focus.

At the clinic, we highly value teamwork and continuous learning. We believe that a strong work climate is based on openness, participation, and community – where we actively share knowledge, support each other, and have fun together, while delivering care of the highest quality.

With us, you will work broadly within the various areas of occupational therapy with a primary focus on neurological rehabilitation. You will also work to some extent with patients within the regular primary care assignment.

Your duties at the clinic will include, among others:

  • Assistive device prescription and functional assessment
  • Home visits and housing adaptation
  • Supporting the patient with training within the framework of self-care
  • Collaborating with and supporting other care providers internally and externally.
  • Conducting groups and lectures.

Based on the clinic's needs, you will also have the opportunity to work in Joint Academy's digital care platform. Here, you will offer video and chat consultations, evaluate patients' needs, and design customized treatment plans – which offers a dynamic and flexible work environment where you have the opportunity to work digitally and physically.

The position is primarily a full-time employment starting immediately, but we also welcome you who are interested in working part-time.

Who are you?

  • You are a licensed occupational therapist
  • You have work experience in neurological rehab, with further education at an advanced level of 15 higher education credits in neurology
  • As a person, you are thorough, responsible, and structured in your work, and enjoy working at the somewhat higher pace of primary care
  • You are flexible, open to change, and can adapt quickly to new situations
  • You are patient, listen actively, and communicate effectively
  • You enjoy and want to learn to work digitally and see the opportunities with hybrid care
  • You have good proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English

What do we offer you?

  • Work in a team with high competence that breathes forward spirit and high-quality patient work in accordance with research
  • Opportunity to broaden your competence and complement your clinical work while helping shape the future of care
  • Competitive salary with benefits in wellness, insurance package, and pension via collective agreement
