Temporary Employment Care Assistant/Nursing Assistant Spring/Summer 2026

For over 300 years, the Foundation Borgerskapets Enkehus och Gubbhus has worked to provide good care and support for Stockholm's elderly residents. We are located centrally in Södermalm.

Every day, we perform a cultural service while evolving to meet the needs of Stockholm's residents over time.

Borgerskapet is certified in the training program Living with Dementia, based on the Silviahemmet palliative care philosophy.

Scope: temporary employment up to 100% on a schedule, based on your preferred working weeks and our needs.

Duration: Primarily during the summer, we also have needs during spring and autumn.

Employment type: Intermittent employment

About the job:

We are looking for you who are versatile and meticulous as a team player with good communication skills and a genuine interest in working in elderly care.

You can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are attentive and present and enjoy working independently and in a group.

We are looking for you with a sensitive touch who values good quality and service for the residents at the care and support home. The temporary position involves work on somatic and dementia wards.

About the role: We are looking for you who want to work day/evening/every other weekend. The work includes typical nursing assistant tasks such as care, documentation, medication administration, good service for the residents at the home, and being a good colleague.

During the summer months, you will substitute on regular employees' schedules. It is important that you inform us of which weeks you can work in the summer, and you will then follow regular employees' schedules.

We prefer that you are/have experience:

That you have previous experience in elderly care.

Experience in service professions is also meritorious.
