Serving/Bar Staff Holmön

Nova's Harbor Tavern on Holmön! Just as it sounds - an idyllic restaurant located right by the harbor of the village bay.

Nova's Harbor Tavern is a family business that started on Holmön outside Umeå in 2016. In December 2022, we chose to develop the business and opened Nova's Steakhouse in Bågenhuset by Järnvägsallén, but in the autumn of 2025, we moved the operation to Operaplan 7 where we are located next to Norrlandsoperan and now named Nova's Tavern.

But right now, we are looking for you who are at least 17 years old, who want an adventurous summer job on a fantastic island with wonderful colleagues. You should be service-oriented, social, proactive, and meticulous. You should be self-sufficient and have a good eye for detail. You should be comfortable working both independently and in a group. In addition, it is positive if you like speed and excitement, because in addition to days with a lot of tourism, we make sure to brighten up the summer with some events and live music.

So now we are looking for you who want to spend the summer on Umeå's own version of Saltkråkan. Previous experience is a plus but not a must.

Staff accommodation can possibly be arranged.

There is a chance for continued employment at our restaurant in Umeå after the summer job ends.
