About Us:

Älvsborg Rehab Center is a private rehabilitation clinic centrally located in Borås, part of Vårdval rehab. We have close collaboration with the health center Cityläkarna and Lotus - Youth Mental Health, which are in the same building. Our clinic has been in operation for 10 years, and as the clinic grows, we need more colleagues. Today, we have 8 physiotherapists and 2 occupational therapists at the clinic. We are a wonderful team with good collaboration and a positive atmosphere in the workplace.

As a new employee, you will be assigned a mentor who will introduce you to the workplace and your work. Many of us have long experience working in primary care.

About the Work:

We work based on the requirements and quality book of Vårdval Rehab. You work independently but also in team collaboration when needed. The work consists of patient visits both at the clinic and home visits. Your tasks include assessments and treatments of issues from the hand and elbow, prescription of assistive devices, and supportive conversations based on daily life revision. As an occupational therapist, you are part of a conversation team in collaboration with Cityläkarna health center, which also includes care coordinators for mental health and psychologists. We conduct arthritis school, stress school, COPD school, and relaxation, where you have great opportunity to influence and develop our group treatments. Experience as a rehab coordinator is meritorious but not required.

We are seeking a licensed occupational therapist who wants to work in primary care and become an important part of our workgroup. You are positive and enjoy working with people, and you collaborate easily. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
