Construction Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a construction manager at Intressanta Hus, you are responsible for the entire construction process – from when the project is handed over after the customer's order to final inspection and move-in. You manage multiple parallel single-family home projects and work closely with salespeople, carpenters, subcontractors, and colleagues at the head office. The role requires both presence on the construction site and structure in administrative work. You have overall responsibility for time, cost, and quality – with the goal of delivering projects with high customer satisfaction and a zero-protocol at final inspection.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Lead and coordinate construction projects throughout the entire construction process
• Establish, monitor, and adjust schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Hold construction meetings and ensure presence in the projects
• Be responsible for technical consultations and final consultations
• Monitor self-inspections, ÄTA, costs, and invoices
• Handle administration, documentation, and minute-taking
• Participate in frame assemblies, inspections, and handover to the customer

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a construction technical background and several years of experience managing construction projects – preferably in single-family home production. You are confident in both the practical reality of the construction site and the administrative follow-up, and you thrive in a role with many points of contact – both internally and with customers.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry with experience as a construction manager or project manager
• Experience managing and coordinating construction projects
• Good knowledge in scheduling, project management, and subcontractor coordination
• Experience with self-inspections, inspections, and final inspection
• Experience with customer contact
• Experience with administrative work (ÄTA, invoices, documentation)
• Ability to read and understand K-drawings
• Knowledge of construction law (AB04, ABT06)
• Bas U
• Class B driver's license
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Knowledge in Safe Water & BKR
• Knowledge in Excel, Google Drive, and Slack
