Tellusskolan THEA in Bromma is located a short walk from the tram in Johannesfred. THEA Bromma is the small school with big ambitions. We work with rhetoric as our profile – a working method that strengthens students' communicative ability, self-confidence, and language development in all subjects.

The school has dedicated and experienced teachers who together drive development work with a focus on collegial learning. We have low staff turnover and high satisfaction. The school has about 150 students, with two classes per grade, and shows good results in both grades and national tests.

The principal is Tellusskolan II AB, which runs six schools in Enköping, Linköping, and Stockholm. We are a largely teacher-driven organization where your competence and commitment are crucial for the school's continued development.

About the position

We are now looking for a licensed teacher in home and consumer studies for a permanent position of 45%. The position includes mentorship for a class, which is done in close collaboration with a colleague.

The position is currently scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in home and consumer studies. We place great importance on teaching that combines practical elements with theoretical understanding and gives students knowledge for an independent and sustainable life.

With us, the relationship with students is central. You are therefore both a subject teacher and, together with a colleague, a mentor for a class. Mentorship includes following students' knowledge development and social development in close collaboration with guardians and colleagues.

You will be part of a work team where you work together for a safe learning environment with good study conditions. An important part of the assignment is also to contribute to the school's systematic quality work, participate in collegial learning, and observe colleagues.
