Experienced Audit Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced audit assistant who wants to take the next step in their career with a focus on client-facing auditing in southern Sweden. The role involves independent responsibility in audit assignments, with the opportunity to work closely with clients and regularly visit companies throughout Skåne.

You will work in a dynamic environment where quality, business understanding, and relationships are central. The role suits you if you are on your way toward authorization and want to further broaden your experience.

Your main responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits according to applicable regulations
• Review financial statements, annual reports, and internal controls
• Identify risks and suggest improvement measures
• Prepare work documentation and reports
• Participate in and lead parts of client meetings
• Travel within Skåne for client visits and on-site assignments
• Supervise junior employees

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in audit work (preferably from PwC, EY, KPMG, or Deloitte)
• Good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
• Experience with K2/K3 and Swedish regulations
• Driver's license B and ability to travel for work
• Fluent Swedish and good English

Meritous

• Initiated path toward authorization with the Swedish Inspectorate of Auditors
• Experience with group auditing
• Previous client responsibility or project management
