Experienced Project Engineer

We are now seeking an experienced project engineer for a long-term and socially important assignment within infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work on complex road projects and contribute to the development of future transport solutions.

About the Assignment

In the role of project engineer, you will provide operational support to the project manager in multiple parallel road projects. The projects are primarily in the planning stage, but other phases may occur.

You will work closely with the project organization and contribute to ensuring that projects are delivered according to set goals regarding time, cost, and content.

Your Main Responsibilities

You will, among other things:

• Support the project manager in planning, controlling, and monitoring projects
• Establish and follow up on schedules and project budgets
• Work with financial monitoring, forecasts, and invoice management
• Participate in risk management and quality work
• Coordinate and support in procurements
• Contribute to the project's administrative structure (meetings, documentation, reporting)
• Act as support and sounding board to the project organization
• If needed, serve as deputy project manager

Requirements Profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• University or college education (at least 180 credits) in engineering, economics, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as a project engineer within infrastructure (road or rail)
• Documented experience in:
• Time planning
• Budget and calculation
• Risk management
• Experience with relevant systems, e.g.:
• MS Project
• Project portal / C7
• Exonaut Risk or similar
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of the Office package
• B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have experience working according to major client organizations' processes.
