At the Senior Expert level, you are a recognized expert in your field, both internally and externally. You actively contribute to the skill development of colleagues and serve as a mentor.

You have good knowledge of market trends and build strong networks to drive development forward. You represent the organization and contribute future-oriented perspectives within your area of expertise.

Job Responsibilities

As a senior mechanical engineer (Senior Expert), you are responsible for developing and designing technical solutions in mechanics based on requirements for function, design, cost, quality, and regulations.

You lead and support design work within your area and ensure that deliveries maintain high quality and are ready for release. The role involves coordinating and integrating work from multiple parties and ensuring that solutions meet the organization's goals and requirements.

You contribute to product and system development, participate in innovation work, and collaborate with both internal teams and external actors such as universities and research institutes. You are also involved in establishing project conditions based on previous experiences and component history.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in mechanical design
• Documented experience in leading technical work
• Good understanding of product development, quality, and regulations
• Experience working in complex projects and collaborating cross-functionally
