Care Personnel LSS. Working with People and Animals in the Countryside

Spångkärr's daily activities are seeking a new employee.

Perhaps you are the one we are looking for. You who enjoy working with people but also like to work with practical tasks on a farm. You who like to share your expertise with others in a meaningful workday. Here we work together with our Participants with our feet in the soil, hammer in hand, chatting with dogs while the smell of freshly baked goods comes from the kitchen.

We work together in groups to provide the farm's Participants with a meaningful workday in our activities such as kitchen, garden, crafts, dog daycare, and carpentry. With us, every day is unique. We place great emphasis on safety, participation, job satisfaction, and pride.

Your role with us. As care personnel, your primary task is to support and inspire in the day's work tasks. You plan and lead activities based on everyone's individual needs and conditions. The work tasks vary, and this position primarily involves supporting in the carpentry shop where work includes projects such as flower boxes, outdoor furniture, etc. But also supporting in other activities like crafts, the garden, the kitchen, and in our dog daycare. You have contact with residents and relatives. Document according to established procedures.

Who are you? We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in people and who see opportunities rather than obstacles. Preferably, we see that you want to work all days, but we are open to other possibilities.

Qualifications You are trained as an assistant nurse, support person, or have some pedagogical education.

Experience: It is meritorious if you have experience with Neurodevelopmental Disorders and practical knowledge primarily in carpentry but also in gardening, kitchen, crafts, dogs.

Personal qualities: You are patient, pedagogical, and secure in yourself. You need to be flexible and able to oversee what needs to be done right now. You should enjoy working in a team, where together you design the Participants' workdays in a pedagogical way. Together, you and your colleagues create a WE-feeling with the farm's Participants.
