At Lillvalla, we work in groups or individually to provide the farm's Participants with meaningful workdays in our activities such as music, cultivation, creative work, and animals. Here, we work closely at a slow pace. The farm's Participants require significant support including personal care. We place great emphasis on safety, participation, job satisfaction, and pride.
Your role with us:
As care staff, your primary task is to support and inspire in daily work tasks. You plan and lead activities based on everyone's individual needs and conditions. Our activities include creative work, music, walking, movement, gardening, animal care, wood handling, simple carpentry. You help create a safe, predictable daily life with clear educational methods. You see the Participant's potential for participation, independence, and development in the activities. You have contact with residents and relatives. Document according to current routines and have close collaboration with colleagues. Together, you and your colleagues create a sense of community with the farm's Participants.
Who are You?
We are looking for You who have a genuine interest in working with people and who see opportunities rather than obstacles. You are practically inclined and enjoy a physically active daily life. Preferably, we see that You work all days, but other possibilities can be discussed.
Qualifications:
You are trained as an assistant nurse, support person, or have some educational background.
Experience:
It is meritorious if You have experience with intellectual disabilities and are interested in music, animals, cultivation, creative work. Knowledge/experience of TSS. Want to work in a structured and educational manner.
Personal qualities:
You are patient, educational, and secure in yourself. You are calm in your approach and have the ability to build trust. You are responsible and cooperative. You have good communication skills and can adapt your approach. You are curious to understand and learn more about our Participants to be able to support in various situations. You are flexible, solution-focused, and can overview what needs to be done right now. You see it as natural to speak respectfully to Participants. You should enjoy working in a team, where together you design the Participants' workdays in an educational way. You like to collaborate and contribute to a good work environment.
