Family Unit Sweden is seeking emergency and foster homes

We are seeking experienced emergency and foster homes, as well as treatment families, in the Stockholm area and within 2–3 hours from Stockholm. The assignments focus on placed youth with complex backgrounds, such as mental health issues, criminality, and substance abuse.

We have a particular need for experienced families with high availability, preferably where one adult is at home full-time. Previous experience with emergency or foster home assignments is important. Formal education is not required, but experience from similar assignments or work with children and youth is meritorious.

The assignment involves receiving children or youth into your home, providing care, security, and structure in daily life, and being a stable adult support. The assignment takes place in close collaboration with emergency and foster home consultants and social services.

You need to be able to present extracts from:

• Suspicion and criminal records from the Police
• Debt-free certificate from the Enforcement Authority
• Certificate from the Social Insurance Agency
• Social register from the municipality of registration

The compensation consists of a fee and expense reimbursement and is determined before each assignment. For these types of assignments, we offer a high fee!

Family Unit Sweden works with qualified emergency and foster home care as well as outpatient care with a special focus on Greater Stockholm, but also takes assignments in other parts of the country. The operation has long experience in social work and treatment work. Family Unit Sweden focuses on the child's strengths, resources, and development.

We place great importance on being close to our emergency and foster homes in daily life through regular contact, supervision, and flexible and present support. The goal is for each emergency and foster home to feel secure, strengthened, and well-equipped in their assignment.
