Recreation Leader for After-School Center
Description
Are you an engaged and creative recreation leader who wants to contribute to a safe, developmental, and meaningful everyday life for children? Then you are warmly welcome to apply for the position with us!
Aspen Montessori is an independent elementary school for grades F–5 with about 120 students. School and after-school center are run in a charming older school building with generous ceiling height and a cozy atmosphere. The school is beautifully situated in a nature-close environment that invites movement, play, and exploration – with meadows, streams, and forest right outside the door. Here, there are very good conditions for a varied and inspiring after-school activity, both indoors and outdoors.
Our after-school center is divided into three sections: F–1, 2–3, and 4–5, with three staff members attached to each section. The work team consists of 7–9 employees and works in close and well-functioning collaboration with the school operations. We are an operation characterized by engagement, collaboration, and a shared responsibility for quality and development, where we also value planning time as an important part of the pedagogical work.
