About Us

Byängsskolan is an independent F-9 primary school with approximately 800 students and over 100 employees. We have a long tradition of quality and safety in Täby. Byängsskolan is and will continue to be a workplace where people thrive and stay for a long time. We care about our ambitious and professional staff, and we have high satisfaction among both staff and students.

Currently, the operations are spread across 14 different buildings, but in January 2027 we will move into a completely new school in the growing district of Täby Park. There, for the first time, we will be gathered under one roof in a modern and well-thought-out learning environment.

Your Role with Us

As a social educator at about 75%, you will have a key role in supporting our middle and high school students. You are a present force in the students' daily lives, contributing to study peace and safety.

Your main tasks:

Support: You are close to the students in their daily lives to support and guide them. You are an active adult in supporting students with high absenteeism to reverse the trend and increase their presence.

Conflict Management: You actively work to resolve conflicts and prevent violations, including through our research-based work with the Olweus Program.

Collaboration with EHT: You work in close cooperation with the school's Student Health Team to contribute your knowledge about the students' social situation.

Investigations and Relief: You participate in investigations and have contact with teachers, student assistants, and guardians.

Contact with Other Actors: You will, as needed, have contact with other actors regarding our students, such as social services, habilitation services, the fields, and the police.

We are located geographically close to Täby Centrum with good communications to both our current location and our new school in Täby Park.
