Your own teaching is conducted in Swedish, but among colleagues, we speak English. We are now seeking a certified German teacher - 50% position starting from Autumn 2026. Can possibly be combined with another subject if more qualifications are held. Job Description Work as a teacher in grades 6-9. You will be part of a team with teachers who teach modern languages. Your work includes planning, conducting, and following up on your teaching based on LGR22. You also have a mentorship role, which means you have overall responsibility for students' knowledge development. You maintain close dialogue with students' guardians and conduct development conversations. We seek someone who wants to make a difference for students in their lifelong learning. Our operations are permeated by a positive outlook, and we have strong confidence in students' abilities. A strong value foundation and positive view of students are very important to us. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for students. You work together in teams with teacher colleagues, support educators, and leisure-time staff. Our mission is to together lead and support students in their social and knowledge development. In the team, educators help each other with planning, teaching, and students' school day. Where are you? You have a Swedish teacher education with a focus on Modern Languages - German, as well as a Swedish teaching license. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to incorporate curriculum goals into your work. You have clear leadership and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and co-inquiring educator who challenges and stimulates students to development. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have direct and humble communication with guardians and build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You should be positive, cooperative, and prepared to join an international team. In your role, you teach in Swedish/German, but among colleagues, we speak English/Swedish. This means you need to master both languages fluently, both spoken and written.
