International English School Landskrona IES Landskrona started its operations in 2017 and is a school for grades F–9. Each day, we welcome nearly 600 students and 70 staff to a dynamic and international environment. We are a bilingual school following the Swedish curriculum, where collaboration and professionalism are central to our daily work. We are now seeking a study and career counselor. We are looking for someone with a positive and professional approach, flexibility, and great commitment in their work for the best interests of our students. Who are you? You are a person who takes initiative, works independently, and has the ability to prioritize effectively in a changing daily routine. You are confident in making decisions and resolving situations that arise in a professional manner. We are looking for you who: - Have a university degree as a study and career counselor. - Have very good collaboration skills. - Express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. - Have good digital competence. To succeed in the role, you need to be a trustworthy person who finds it easy to build relationships and communicate effectively. In the role as a study and career counselor in elementary school, you will be part of the school's student health team, where you work preventively and promotively in areas such as attendance, safety, and study environment. You will work with both individual guidance and informational efforts in the classroom. You also collaborate with work teams where you inform and guide about high school education, future labor market, and stimulate students' interest and curiosity for upcoming choices and directions in school. You provide information to students and guardians about various choices within elementary school that form the basis for future study and career choices. You conduct guidance talks ahead of high school choices and coordinate PRAO for grades 8 and 9. You have a coordinating responsibility for the school's KNUT work and provide need-based support to teachers involved in the work. Employment Type The position is a permanent employment (80%) leave replacement with a 6-month probationary period. There is an opportunity for increased employment level within administrative activities at the school. Starting date August 7, 2026. Salary according to agreement, collective agreement exists.
