Childcare Worker for the Daycare Cooperative Blåklockan Preschool.

Blåklockan is a parent cooperative with space for approximately 20 children, aged 1-5 years, housed in a villa with its own kitchen where meals are prepared from scratch, in Arjeplog. The preschool is located in the residential area Öberget with a nice outdoor area and close to forest, nature, and playground.

We are looking for you who want to work with us as a childcare worker or also in the kitchen. As a childcare worker, you support the preschool team in the educational training. At the same time, you are a central part of the children's play and activities and assist during nap times and meals. You have the child in focus and contribute to creating joy around play and creativity in the child. You are positive, engaged, and flexible in your work. In the recruitment, great emphasis will be placed on you as a person. It is not important how much experience you have; we are more interested in your personal suitability and that you fit into the team.

The team consists of five people including you. The children are divided into groups with 1-2 year olds and 3-5 year olds where we prioritize high staff density. With us, you have close collaboration with the principal, who also works in the child group, as well as with the board, which also provides short decision paths. You work largely independently and have great opportunity to shape both your own workday and the preschool's educational activities. We use the TYRA app as a tool for communication and documentation. We offer you work with nice, engaged colleagues who have fun together with the children, educational meals, and engaged guardians.

Preschool Blåklockan is a parent cooperative that has existed in Arjeplog for 30 years. That the preschool is run as a parent cooperative means that the staff have the pedagogical responsibility at the preschool, and engaged parents handle practical and administrative tasks outside the daily operations. The parent cooperative is based on Christian principles. Which means that in our values work, we start from the values described in the Curriculum for Preschool, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and Christian values where we see each child as unique and valuable as they are. We want to convey joy, security, and treatment of others as we ourselves wish to be treated.

The employment is a maternity leave substitute. We apply a probationary period of 3 months, starting as soon as possible. Selection and interviews occur continuously, and you are warmly welcome to submit your application now.
