Assistant Principal / Operations Manager for Labor Market Training and Municipal Adult Education to VFG Education in Växjö

VFG Education is now seeking an engaged assistant principal/operations manager within our labor market training and municipal adult education programs with a focus on heavy vehicles.

About the Position

As an assistant principal/operations manager with us, you have a central role in leading, developing, and quality-assuring our training programs in heavy vehicles. You work closely with both employees, participants, and external partners such as authorities and industry.

The position involves overall responsibility for the operation's pedagogical content, results, and development, where you ensure that the training maintains high quality and is adapted to the needs of the labor market.

Job Duties

• Lead and develop labor market training and municipal adult education in heavy vehicles
• Be responsible for quality, finances, goal achievement, and follow-up of the operation
• Supervise and support educators and other staff
• Ensure that the training meets requirements from clients, authorities, and the industry
• Collaborate with authorities, municipalities, and industry
• Work with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Participate in procurement, follow-ups, and operational development
• Contribute to developing new training initiatives based on labor market needs
• Participate in various governing forums at VFG

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education in pedagogy, leadership, or equivalent experience
• Experience in leadership within education or transport operations
• Experience with labor market training or municipal adult education
• Good understanding of governing documents and regulations within adult education and the transport sector
• B driver's license (requirement)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritous

• Experience in the transport or vehicle industry, particularly heavy vehicles
• Experience working with procurement or contracts with authorities
• Pedagogical education or principal training
• Experience with systematic quality work
• Established network within the industry
• Driver's license qualifications C, CE and/or D and DE
