About us

Lusen Preschool is a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool with a clear profile in language development in a multilingual environment. We are a well-established and well-functioning operation with over 10 years of experience, where stability is combined with active development work.

Our vision is to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating education where children's language — spoken, signed, visual, and creative — is the foundation for learning, participation, and identity development.

We start from the premise that all children are competent and rich in possibilities. The learning environment is seen as the third educator and is systematically developed to be accessible, inspiring, and calm, especially for children in need of extra support. AAC, visual support, and clarifying pedagogy are a natural part of our daily work.

The preschool consists of three departments, age-divided, with a total of 45 places.

Your role

As principal, you have the overall responsibility for the preschool's operation, staff, and development. You lead the pedagogical work and ensure that the operation is conducted in accordance with current governing documents as well as the preschool's Reggio Emilia-inspired working methods and language-developing profile.

You work in a smaller organization with short decision-making paths, where you together with the staff drive development forward with a focus on quality, structure, and a good work environment.

The role is characterized by close and present leadership. You combine your assignment as principal with work in child groups, which gives you good insight into the operation and creates conditions for clear, anchored, and trusting leadership.
