Engtex is seeking a new employee

Engtex AB has been developing and manufacturing technical textiles in Sweden for many years. The turnover amounts to approximately 230 MSEK with an export share of about 90%, and the sales volume reaches around 4,000 tons. Engtex is located in Ulricehamn. The operation currently has about 75 employees. Engtex has experienced very positive development in recent years, enabling extensive investments in equipment and expertise. Our customers represent a broad spectrum of industries worldwide.

Machine Operator - Cutting Line

We are looking for an employee for our cutting line in production. This is a relatively new process at Engtex and has been under construction for the past year.

Job Duties

The work as a machine operator on the cutting line consists of:

  • Operating, setting up, and monitoring the Zünd digital cutter (work orders, nesting, and parameter adjustment)
  • Preparing, importing, and adjusting cutting files (DXF/DWG) in Zünd Cut Center
  • You follow work orders in our production system, optimize nesting layouts, and ensure high quality in every detail.
  • Assembling textiles with nesting and edge banding.
  • Performing daily maintenance, tool changes, and simple troubleshooting
  • Quality control of cut details and documenting deviations
  • Providing production support on other machines and departments as needed
  • Participating in improvement work for efficiency and work environment

At the line, you work together with others in the team.

The working hours are initially daytime, but as order intake increases, it will transition to two shifts.

Background

It is desirable that you have experience as a machine operator from industrial work, preferably in the textile or other process industries.

Meritorious are a 3-year practical high school education, forklift license, and overhead crane license.

You are fluent in Swedish in speech and writing.

As a person, you should be structured and meticulous in your work. Since you will be working in a team with other production staff, we value that you are flexible and enjoy teamwork. This means we place great importance on personal suitability.
