CNC Operator

We are now seeking CNC operators for Motala Workshop!

Do you want to work in a historic workshop environment with large, complex machines and developing tasks?

About the position

As a CNC operator, you will play an important role in production. You work independently, but also in close collaboration with your colleagues.

Your responsibility is to ensure that production flows according to plan with the highest possible precision and safety.

The position is on a 2-shift basis and starts with a 6-month fixed-term employment that may transition to permanent employment if both parties are satisfied with each other.

Work tasks include, among others:

· Programming and setting up machines

· Maintaining production within your production group

· Self-inspection of manufactured goods and marking after completed operation

· Reporting deviations and improvement suggestions

· Preventive maintenance (PM) according to plan and routines

· Ensuring correct information transfer during shift changes

· Handling waste and chemicals according to current routines

· Contributing to resource-efficient production through conservation of energy and materials

· Performing other workshop-related tasks as needed

We are looking for you who

· Have several years of experience as a CNC operator, preferably in heavy workshop industry

· Can read and interpret drawings and manufacturing documents

· Have good experience programming and setting up CNC machines

· Are meticulous, self-motivated, and responsible

· Have an eye for improvements and quality

· Master Swedish in both speech and writing
