At Rångedala's lunch restaurant and café in Lundaskog/Borås store, we focus on good seasonal ingredients with local connections. A large portion includes greens with Swedish-grown legumes. The food is prepared with a more modern twist on traditional home-cooked meals, following the seasons with a local touch. We serve food made from scratch with distinct flavors. Simple and nutritious, yet with finesse. In our Café, we serve delicious pastries with variety, also using seasonal ingredients with local connections.

It should be evident that we have prepared the food with great consideration for the ingredients we use, where "waste-reduction thinking" is part of our daily routine in the kitchen.

We are now looking for you who preferably have experience working in a café and restaurant environment and have a passion for baking, and who keeps up with trends and what is current in the field. We want you to be very service-oriented and accustomed to customer contact, with the ability to provide excellent service based on each individual guest's wishes.

It is required that your energy level is high and that you can manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a person, you are positive, responsible, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You need to have good physical fitness as the work involves a lot of movement.

You will work in a team with two colleagues, so you need to be a team player as we all help each other.

Your main tasks include ensuring that the work in the restaurant runs smoothly, where you welcome guests at the cash register, serve coffee breaks, keep the area clean and tidy, and ensure we have fantastic pastries for sale, as well as performing simple food preparation and having an eye for details and that little extra.

You will have serving responsibilities, and therefore you must be 20 years old (according to the Alcohol Act, Chapter 8, Section 18).

Work Tasks:

- Cash register work

- Responsibility for the work in the restaurant

- Lunch service

- Coffee break service

- Handling of coffee machines

- Baking as well as simple food preparation such as sandwiches, etc.

- Cleaning of the restaurant and café area

Requirements Specification:

- You should be able to work independently and take your own initiatives while also being a team player as we help each other with many tasks

- Takes own initiatives for the work in the restaurant

- Preferably experience in café and restaurant work and a passion for baking, ideally in a large kitchen environment.

- Social ability to provide service and meet guests based on their wishes.

- Eye for details and keeping up with trends and what is current in the field of baking.

- Ability to bake and prepare simple food/coffee breaks and handle any related machines
